2011 Spring/Summer Meat CSA

 The spring/summer CSA will run for 16 weeks beginning on May 19 and will go until September 10.  (We will take off the last week in July.) We will be at Fearington Village on Tuesday, Pittsboro Farmers Market on Thursdays, and Chatham Market Place on Saturday morning for our pick-up/drop off locations.

We are offering three different share sizes, small ($20), medium ($30) and large ($40). The weight of the meat for each share will vary depending on the cuts you will receive that week. For example, if you are signed up for the $20 CSA, one week you might get two pounds of ground beef ($10) and a rump roast ($10). On the following week you may receive one pound of ground beef ($5) and a pound of Ribeye ($15).  If you decided on the $30 share you would receive additional cut of meat that week. 

All CSA shares, regardless of size, will be able to choice from beef, pork, chicken, veal, goat, and lamb. We almost always have beef, pork, veal and chicken. Due to the small size and high demand of goat and lamb we will make it available as often as possible. CSA member will get to choice what variety and cuts of meat they would like for the week depending on meat availability.
