Chatham Market Place Farmers Market- Fresh paster chicken and turkey are stocked in the cooler and freezer section of the Chatham Market Place every Saturday afternoon.

**Products including raw pet milk, eggs, and meat can be purchased off the farm on a daily basis. Please call, text or email ahead of time to ensure that someone will be there to help you.

Hello everyone!!!! It has been a long time since we have sent out an email. We have so much going on. This is a wonderful time of year!!

We are taking Thanksgiving Turkey reservations now. If you are interested let us know so we can put you down for one. Turkeys are limited so don’t delay! Turkeys will be sold for $4.50 per pound and a $30 deposit will be due on or before October 1 to secure your gobbler. Turkey pick-ups will be the Saturday before Thanksgiving at the Chatham Mills market between 8:00am and 12:00pm or the day before thanksgiving, Wednesday,  at the special Thanksgiving Chatham Mills Market, time to be determined.  All of our turkeys are pasture raised and antibiotic free. We follow organic practices; however we are not certified organic. If you have any questions please email, call or stop by the Pittsboro Market on Thursday from 3:30-6:00 or the Chatham Mills Market on Saturday from 8:00-12:00.

I want to thanks everyone who has supported us this summer. We love our customers and are so happy to be able to provide quality natural meat to wonder people. Our Fall/Winter CSA will begin October 20 and 22 with Thursday and Saturday pick-ups. For more information about signing up for our 27 week fall/winter CSA please email us or stop by one of the markets.

WE HAVE LAMB!!!!!!! Stop by the Chatham Mills market Saturday from 8:00-12:00 to pick some up. If you are super interested in lamb but will not be able to make the market this week let us know asap so we can put some aside for you!

Finally, don’t forget to mark on your calendars, Carolina Brewery’s October Festival,  this Saturday, September 24. It will be lots of fun for the entire family including tons of kids’ activities and beer. There will also be a sidewalk market with local farmers and artists too! We will be there with our coolers and our pint glasses! Come check it out!

Carol's Good Earth Farm located in Liberty, NC has a wonderful variety of the most amazing and long lasting cut flowers, sure to brighten up any house or office space. They go to 3 local farmers markets, Pittsboro's Market on Thursday from 4:00-6:30, Chatham Market Place on Saturday mornings from 8:00-12:00, and Saxapahaw Music Festival and Market on Saturday evenings from 5:00-8:00. 

Our Neighborhood School and Pizzeria located in historic downtown Pittsboro offers authentic Italian food made from local products. Its Tuscan atmosphere, great food, and friendly service will make you want to always go back for more.

Chatham Market Place located in historic downtown Pittsboro is a wonderful food coop that strives on providing a variety healthy quality food, including a large variety of local products,  to the community. Some of the coops fabulous qualities are they support local agriculture, the help the local economy, it offers active ownership, they practice environmental stewardship, and it serves as a local hub, just to name a few.

CSA & Customer Appreciation Picnic

 Everyone is welcome so bring friends and family! Bring a chair and a change of clothes for the kids. A dish to pass is welcome but not necessary. Bring a towel for our small pool should be up and running for the kids.

Pork- Our pork is raised in large dirt floor pens that are bedded with local fresh hay. The pigs are comfortable as they have created areas in their pens designated for eating, sleeping, and rooting. Pork can be purchased whole for BBQ, whole cut and wrapped, halved cut and wrapped, quartered cut and wrapped and individual cuts. Specialty cuts available upon request.

Veal- Not crate raised, our veal are housed in a large 48 ft by 45 ft pen. They drink milk from cows on our farm and are supplemented with powered whole milk. They are happy, healthy, and comfortable. Veal can be purchased whole, halved, quartered, and individual cuts. Specialty cuts are available upon request.

Lamb- Our sheep and lambs are raised on our pasture together with shade and shelter for their comfort and convenience. Lamb can be purchased whole, halved, quartered, and individual cuts. Specialty cuts are available upon request.

Goat- We have a variety of goats raised on our pasture that browse with our cattle. Goat can be purchased whole, halved, quartered, and individual cuts. Specialty cuts are available upon request.

Poultry- We raise our poultry in small groups that have inside and outside accessability. Our chickens are never cage confined and are fed excess produce and grains that are locally purchased. Eggs and whole chickens are available year round and turkeys are available for purchase seasonably.

Produce- In the summer months we will have a variety of vegetables from our gardens for purchase.

Raw Pet Milk- May 2011 we will be selling pet milk at the local farmers markets. We will milk our dairy cows twices daily in our parlor at the farm. All of our dairy cows graze on greeen pasture and come inside the barn to cool down in the hot summer or stay warm during the winter.
